Senior Revenue Operations AnalystWe are looking for a Senior Revenue Operations Analyst to support Spotify's global Order-to-Cash operations and revenue close process. You'll work at the intersection of accounting and operations, helping ensure accurate financial reporting while building processes and systems that can scale with our business.In this role, you'll partner across Finance, Engineering, Tax, Sales, and other teams to solve complex operational challenges, strengthen our revenue processes, and support Spotify's continued growth.What You'll DoSupport the monthly and quarterly revenue close, including journal entries, revenue accruals, deferrals, and manual adjustments in accordance with IFRSPrepare and review complex balance sheet reconciliations across statutory books and consolidated ledgers, and analyze month-end movements across revenue, deferred revenue, accounts receivable, and related accountsManage global e-invoicing operations across subsidiaries, partnering with Tax to understand local requirements and resolve invoice delivery, data, and validation issuesSupport day-to-day global Order-to-Cash operations, including manual billing and accounts receivable activitiesMaintain strong financial controls and support SOX, ITGC, and internal and external audit requirementsIdentify operational bottlenecks and partner with IT and Financial Engineering to design, test, and implement system enhancements, automated workflows, and controlsCollaborate with Legal, Sales, Sales Operations, FP&A, Tax, Technical Accounting, and other partners on revenue policies, programs, and strategic initiativesMentor and support accounting team members and external vendor partners, while contributing to operational metrics, integrations, and special projectsWho You AreYou have 4+ years of experience across revenue accounting, revenue operations, general ledger accounting, public accounting, or a related area, along with a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experienceYou have a strong understanding of the full Order-to-Cash lifecycle and core accounting concepts, including accruals, deferrals, multi-entity or multi-currency accounting, reconciliations, and month-end closeYou have experience executing or troubleshooting e-invoicing workflows in a global, multi-entity environmentYou are comfortable working with ERP and billing systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or comparable platformsYou have strong Excel and analytical skills and are comfortable working with large, complex datasets; experience with SQL, BigQuery, or data visualization tools is valuableYou have experience working in a SOX-controlled environment and collaborating with internal or external auditorsYou communicate clearly across technical and non-technical teams and can organize competing priorities during deadline-driven close periodsYou have experience working in a global technology, digital advertising, media, podcasting, or entertainment environmentYou have a CPA/CA qualification or progress toward one is a plusWhere You'll BeThis role is based in New York CityWe offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home.We ask that you come into the office 2–3 days per week.The United States base range for this position is $86,046–$122,923, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six-month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, paid flexible holidays, and paid sick leave. These ranges may be modified in the future.
