Job Description

Elevation Energy is looking for a driven, personable Energy Consultant to guide homeowners through the decision to go solar, add battery backup, or upgrade their electrical systems. You'll run virtual and in-home consultations, explain financing and incentive options in plain language, and shepherd interested homeowners from first conversation to signed contract. This is a hybrid, largely remote role for someone who's equal parts educator and closer, comfortable owning a pipeline and hitting monthly targets without a lot of hand-holding.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct virtual and in-home consultations to assess a homeowner's energy needs and goals
• Present clear, honest recommendations on solar, battery, roofing, and electrical upgrades
• Walk customers through financing, incentives, rebates, and tax credit options
• Manage and follow up on a pipeline of inbound leads via phone, email, and text
• Keep the CRM accurate and up to date with every touchpoint and next step
• Collaborate with the design and install teams to hand off signed projects smoothly
• Hit monthly sales targets while maintaining a high customer satisfaction bar
• Stay current on state and utility-level incentives, rebates, and interconnection rules

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1-3 years of consultative sales experience; renewable energy or home services experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule and pipeline
• Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
• Valid driver's license for occasional in-home consultations
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree a plus
