Compliance Manager | Lehigh Valley, PA | Direct Hire | Onsite

BY Recruiting is partnering with an established precision manufacturing company in the Lehigh Valley. The business is growing, and this new role was created to give compliance the year-round focus it needs.

This is a hands-on role for a doer. You will own the compliance program yourself, with zero or one direct report. Quality systems are the top priority, with environmental, health, and safety compliance as the second focus.

What you will do

\n
• Maintain and improve the quality management system to IATF 16949 and ISO 9001
\n
• Own document control across the quality system
\n
• Plan and lead internal audits, and support customer and third-party audits
\n
• Drive corrective actions from audit findings through closure
\n
• Support Automotive Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA)
\n
• Manage supplier compliance
\n
• Support the ISO 14001 environmental management system and environmental permits
\n
• Support OSHA compliance, safety programs, and incident investigations
\n
• Track regulatory and legal requirements that apply to the site
\n

What we are looking for

\n
• Machining background or IATF 16949 experience (both is ideal)
\n
• 5 to 8 years in compliance, quality, safety, or manufacturing systems management
\n
• Working knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OSHA requirements
\n
• Working knowledge of Automotive Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA)
\n
• Strong auditing, root cause, and documentation skills
\n
• Organized, self-directed, and comfortable doing the work without a team behind you
\n
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Management, or a related field (equivalent experience considered)
\n
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
\n

Preferred

\n
• IATF or ISO lead auditor or internal auditor certification
\n
• ISO 14001 auditing experience
\n
• OSHA 30, CSP, or CHMM
\n

Compensation and benefits

\n
• $75,000 to $110,000 base salary, depending on experience
\n
• 10% annual bonus target with a strong payout history
\n
• Full benefits package

• Relocation negotiable for the right candidate; local candidates preferred
\n
